The best part is these wonderful little kitchen savers won't scratch any surface, no matter how hard you scrub and they are fully washable and reusable so you get the most out of each and every dish cloth!
Now that we've gotten the cleaning fun out of the way, I think I need to share with you how I made the adorable utensils that helped me whip together my messy yet delicious BBQ recipe! I obviously used colors inspired by my new dish towels and since these beauties are so easy to make, I knew I had to share a DIY tutorial on how you can make them yourself!
All you'll need is paint, painters tape, a paintbrush, a coffee cup or something with a wide lid, and wooden utensils (plus a utensil holder if you're feeling fancy)! You'll want to begin by taping off each utensil where you want the paint to stop. I left a few inches of the handle wooden so they'll be useful without getting stuff all over the pretty painted parts! I also taped off a little jar to place my new utensils in, so they look organized and pretty on my counter instead of sitting in a drawer.
The next and final step for making these pretty little kitchen aids is to paint them with acrylic paints in the colors of your choice. Evenly coating each item and making sure your brushstrokes are in the same direction on each side so that the utensils look beautiful once the paint dries!
Now stand them up in a coffee cup or something similar, until they are dry. These beauties are ready to use as soon as they are dry to the touch and they absolutely make the perfect new accessory for your kitchen!
While making new DIY projects for my kitchen and sharing one of my favorite new cleaning tools with you has been fun, I think we all are ready for the FOOD. Well, at least I know one pregnant girl that's ready to talk food with you... and obviously that gal is myself!

Pork Tenderloin
1 two-liter of root beer
1 two-liter of root beer
1 bottle of BBQ sauce
1 package of buns
1 package of buns
This recipe is so easy, I can't even believe I'm just now sharing it with you. You'll begin by filling the crock pot with root beer until it's about half full and placing the pork tenderloin in, while it's on low heat. Fill the crock pot nearly to the lip with root beer and place the lid on and let simmer.
Let this concoction simmer for around 4 hours, occasionally stirring. Drain the root beer until there is about 1/5 of it left in the bottom of the crock pot and use a fork and your newly painted spatula to shred the pork.
Once the whole tenderloin has been shredded to perfection, pour 3/4 of the BBQ sauce into the crock pot and allow the mixture to simmer for about an hour or two. Serve on a bun and ENJOY!
